I understand that many of you suffer from the influence of common sense and media’s toxic sensationalism. You think a new decade is coming:
We began counting at “year 1″ not “year 0″, the decade doesn’t begin until January 1, 2011. I understand that this may be hard for you to accept, however we must all accept the ways of the programmer. No matter: I provide two options to refer to the coming periods of time which are completely programmer friendly (unless they’re Windows programmers.)
- {1262318400 -> 1293768000} –the year commonly known as “2010″
- {1262318400 -> 1577764800} –the start of the ten year span ranging from January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2019
I encourage you to use these definite tome references as I will.
NOTE: neither of the second options matter as we do know that this will be the shortest decade ever as it will end in 2012.
PS. this post almost sarcastic.
