I found this video from the early ’90’s which showed Steve Jobs demonstrating NeXT’s technology for porting NeXT applications to Windows, or many other platforms.  NeXT as you know is the core to OS X, and the OPENSTEP technology may be the parent to today’s Quicktime, iTunes, and Safari for Windows.
