Screentoaster: Mac OS X Test

I clicked around the web management of this blog to test the powers of ScreenToaster.com.  I found that ScreenToaster works just as well on Windows Vista as on Mac.  For more information on ScreenToaster, see here.  Basically, for those who don’t know, Screentoaster.com is an online java-based video screencapture utility.  You just have to get an account, use a java-enabled machine, and have a somewhat fast internet connection to upload the video the screentoaster.com.  You can embed your videos in your personal web pages.

Youtube: Youtube Three Years Ago… 2005

I saw this on Amber Mac’s blog (Amber a well known Canadian tech-journalist)… she reviewed Youtube in 2005–on Call For Help Canada. Interesting how far it’s come… note that Youtube is now in 720p HD.

However I may be late in announcing this here, I wanted some time to hear other reactions of Youtube’s annoucement of HD (720p) movie support.  This adds a new file-size limit of 1GB (10 minutes.) and a “Watch in HD” option, if you remember the “Watch In High Quality” option, this is big.  I found a great site exaplining this, Squidoo.com, link here, and basically they outline the stats for HD.
