iPhone Game: Worms

worms

I remember playing this classic PC game in 1998 on a Pentium 3 in 800×600 in 256 color-mode.  This is among the most addictive games I’ve ever played—both on the PC eleven years ago and today.  This game is a turn-based war game with teams: the teams alternate playing while cycling through each player’s characters, which happen to be worms with cute, catchy high-pitched catch phrases and heavy munitions.  This game makes use of multi-touch gestures and allows you to play your own music in the background with or without game sounds.

You can get this game in the App Store for $4.99.
