What I’m Watching: Dr. Kiki and Ray Maxwell
May 15th
This week I finally caught the live stream of Dr. kiki’s Science hour on live.twit.tv, Leo Laporte (of TWiT.tv)’s live video stream of everything he does, even some shows which you can’t directly get a podcast feed of, such as Maxwell’s House with Ray Maxwell and Dr. Kiki’s Science Hour with Dr. Kiki Sanford. Usually I’m passive with viewing these shows, but they were somehow exceptionally wonderful this week.
Dr. Kiki spread the show over just about every topic from medicine to chaos theory in drawers with cords, very thought-provocating. Ray Maxwell introduced the atomic theories such as Bohr, Ruthford, and will be spending the next few weeks going into great depth. But, this gets better, because Ray Maxwell is going to be joined by Dr. Amanda Peet (aka @kiwinerd in the TWiT chat rooms, on Twitter, and the TWiT Army) who has been with the University of Toronto since 2000 and appeared in PBS’ NOVA ‘The Elegant Universe’.
These two shows (Maxwell’s house and Dr. Kiki’s Science Hour) are both great shows which tend to broadcast on Thursdays at 2p (Maxwell) and 3p (Kiki) Pacific time. To get an up to date schedule, see this calendar.
Or should you miss any TWiT show, you can get it at ODTV.me (which is coincidently run by kiwinerd). The links for the two shows mentioned above are:
