My personal favorite interface breakthrough in the new firmware (for iPhone) is the new home screen search. To get access to the search screen you flick to the left from the left-most screen of applications. The search technology running on a low powered device is amazing, but honestly, the iPhone is all about the interfaces, and this is a great one.
